A big home crowd watched last night as the team overcame alot of adversity and a good Stoney Creek Warriors team to advance to the OMHA Major Atom A Quarterfinals with a thrilling 5-4 overtime win.

The Welland Niagara Street Pharmacy/Gene's Skate Sharpening Tigers will be looking to lock down a berth into the OMHA Quarterfinals on home ice thanks to an undefeated weekend in Glanbrook.

There were plenty of goals scored in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Tuesday night as both teams paid little attention to defence in a 7-7 shootout between the league's top two offences.

In their last home game of the regular season the Welland Niagara Street Pharmacy/Gene's Skate Sharpening Tigers defeated the Garden City Falcons 7-0 in Niagara District Atom Doherty league play on Monday night.
