U14 A, U14/15, 2023-2024, REP (Welland Minor Hockey)

The Welland U14A Tigers took on the West Niagara Flying Aces Saturday at home, following a heartbreaking last-minute loss to Glancaster the week before. Battling some illness and injuries, the Tigers were eager to earn an important 2 points to head towards the Holiday break on a positive note.

The Welland U14A Tigers took on the 1st Place Haldimand River Kings today in tough battle, looking to build off of two strong performances against Niagara Falls.

The U14A Tigers had back-to-back games this weekend, looking to take the pressure to Niagara Falls away and hosting the Falcons on home ice. After two close games with great efforts both ways, the Tigers came up short, dropping the games 4-2 and 5-3 respectively.

The U14A Tigers took on their second tournament of the season, the Woodstock Silverstick Regional, this weekend, hoping to come home with hardware and move on to the international competition later in the year. Despite their best effort and resilience through tough teams in the Round Robin, the Tigers fell short of their goal, ending the 3-game Round Robin 1-1-0-1, barely missing the cutoff for the Sunday Semi-Finals.

The U14A Tigers had a busy weekend, playing 3 games in 4 days in preparation for their Silverstick Regional Tournament in Woodstock next weekend. With games against Glancaster, West Niagara, and Haldimand, the Tigers finished 1-2 in the stint.
