The Tigers are tamed by the Mudcats
The Welland Minor Atom “A” Shadow Auto Tigers fell to 15-2 in divisional play after after losing to the Dunville Mudcats 3-1 on Thursday night.
The game was tied 1-1 with just under 5 minutes remaining when the Mudcats took the lead and eventually sealed the deal with an empty netter. Thomas Russell was in net for Welland and was solid, making timely saves to keep the Tigers in the game. Scoring for Welland was Ethan Rousseau assisted by Dylan Wood.
The Tigers travel to Stoney Creek on Saturday for a 1:45 PM showdown against the Warriors.
