Niagara District Minor Atom Championship
The Welland Minor Atom “A” Shadow Auto Tigers have advanced to the Niagara District Minor Atom Championship after going 6-0 in round robin play over the weekend.  The Tigers will face the West Niagara Flying Aces in a best of 3 series to determine who moves on to the OMHA Quarter Finals. 

  

The Tiger's played the St. Catharines Falcons in game 1 and walked away with a 9-0 win. Thomas Russell earned the shut out. The Tiger's offence was led by Ethan Rousseau with 2G and 3A, Antonio Mete with 2G and 1A, Ryan Rousseau with 2G, Liam Seguin, Dylan Wood and Kingsley Lachnit each with 1G and Hudson Bassi, Jordan Hotham and Blake Hudak each with 1A. 

The Tiger's beat the Stoney Creek Warriors 9-3 in game 2 with Jackson Gallagher-Temple getting the win in net. The Tiger's offence was led by Dylan Wood and Jordan Hotham each with 2G and 2A, Liam Seguin with 2G, Ethan Rousseau with 1G and 2A, Antonio Mete with 1G and 1A, Brayden Farr with 1G and Blake Hudak with 1A. 

Game 3 saw the Tigers defeat the Niagara Falls Flyers 6-2 with Thomas Russell patrolling the crease. The offence was led by Liam Seguin with 3G, Ethan Rousseau with 1G and 1A and Blake Hudak and Jordan Hotham with 1G a piece. 

The Glancaster Bombers were the opponent for game 4 who were eventually outscored 9-1 by the Tigers with Jackson Gallagher-Temple earning the victory. The offence was led by Brody Channon and Antonio Mete each with 2G, Jordan Hotham with 1G and 2A, Dylan Wood and Liam Seguin each with 1G and 1A, Ryan Rousseau and Kingsley Lachnit each with 2A, Basil Garofalo and Ethan Rousseau each with 1G and Cooper Ebert and Mark Chambers each with 1A. 

The Tigers played the West Niagara Flying Aces in game 5 and emerged with an 8-0 win, Thomas Russell got the shut out. The Tiger's offence was led by Dylan Wood with 2G and 2A, Jordan Hotham with 2G and 1A, Ethan Rousseau with 2G, Blake Hudak with 2A, Cooper Ebert and Brayden Farr each with 1G and Hudson Bassi, Liam Seguin, Kingsley Lachnit and Brody Channon each with 1 helper.

The semi-final game pitted the Tigers against the Stoney Creek Warriors. The Warriors were ready for a fight and jumped out to a 2-0 lead just a minute into the game. The Tigers regained their composure and battled back eventually winning 6-3. Jackson Gallagher-Temple backstopped the Tigers to victory. The offence was led by Blake Hudak with 2G and 1A, Jordan Hotham with 1G and 2A, Dylan Wood with 2A, Liam Segiun, Ethan Rousseau and Cooper Ebert each with 1G and Sebastien Boucher and Kingsley Lachnit each with 1A.
