The Welland Minor Atom “A” Shadow Auto Tigers improved to 15-1 in divisional play after defeating the Fort Erie Meteors and Port Colborne Sailors this past weekend. The Tigers are now 28-4-1 on the season including tournaments.

The Saturday matinee had the Tigers face off against the Fort Erie Meteors where the Tigers emerged with an 8-3 victory. Thomas Russell was in goal earning the victory. The Tiger's offence was led by Ethan Rousseau with 4G and 1A, Jordan Hotham with 2G and 1A, Dylan Wood and Hudson Bassi each with 1G and 1A, and Ryan Rousseau, Brayden Farr, Basil Garofalo, Sebastien Boucher, Brody Channon and Liam Seguin each recording an assist.

Sunday evening saw the Tigers skate to a 9-1 win against the Port Colborne Sailors with Jackson Gallagher-Temple backstopping the victory. The Tiger's offence was led by Jordan Hotham with 3G and 2A, Ethan Rousseau with 3G and 1A, Ryan Rousseau with 1G and 1A, Blake Hudak and Brody Channon each with 1G, Antonio Mete with 2A, and Dylan Wood and Brayden Farr each with 1A.

The Tigers next play the Dunnville Mudcats on Thursday evening which will surely be a tough contest as the Tigers and Mudcats sit first and second in the division.
