The Welland 91.7 Giant Hits FM Atom Minor Tigers captured another title last night. The Tigers won the Niagara District Hockey League "A" Division Title. This capped off a great season. The Tigers beat a big, physical and skilled team from Lincoln. The series was 5 points to 1. The Tigers finished the year with an amazing 60-8-4 record. The coaching staff is proud of each player. The players played as a team which led to on ice success. Great job Tigers.

On January 11, 2018 the Welland Atom Minor A Tigers travelled to Newmarket to begin their quest for the North American International Silverstick Championship.

The 91.7 Giants Hits FM Atom Minor Tigers travelled to Oakville to compete in the Richard Bell Memorial Tournament. The Tigers finished the round robin with a perfect 3-0 record. On Thursday afternoon the Tigers beat Lorne Park 5-1 in the semi final. On Friday the Tigers played a bigger and tough team from Burlington. The Eagles wanted to avenge a 8-4 loss to the Tigers in round robin play. From the first drop of the puck the Tigers dominated with 3 first period goals.
