Richard Bell Tournament
The 91.7 Giants Hits FM Atom Minor Tigers travelled to Oakville to compete in the Richard Bell Memorial Tournament. The Tigers finished the round robin with a perfect 3-0 record. On Thursday afternoon the Tigers beat Lorne Park 5-1 in the semi final. On Friday the Tigers played a bigger and tough team from Burlington. The Eagles wanted to avenge a 8-4 loss to the Tigers in round robin play. From the first drop of the puck the Tigers dominated with 3 first period goals. They added two more in the second period and cruised to a 5-0 win. They finished with a 5-0 record with 33 goals for and 10 against. This was a great team effort by all players. The entire coaching staff are proud of each player and how they played this week.
