Submitted By Dean Strong on Tuesday, December 31, 2019
It would be a local affair in game two of the Silverstick tournament with a game against West Niagara.

It would be a local affair in game two of the Silverstick tournament with a game against West Niagara. Welland would come out slow and sluggish. Ian Boon would make some important saves to keep it 0-0 until he had to leave the game with an unfortunate injury. West Niagara would score a quick goal after the goalie change to make it 1-0. Welland would storm back and show some character by scoring two in the 3rd period to take the lead 2-1. Hayden Scott would score the tying goal with assists from Jack Moormann and Luka Turkovich. Brodie Morabito would score what seemed like the winner with only a minute or so left in the 3rd. A small defensive mistake in front of the net would allow West Niagara to tie the game with just a few seconds left to end the game 2-2.
