The Semi- Finals would see the Tigers faceoff against top rival Pelham in what could only be viewed as a shot at redemption. After a period and a half of back and forth hockey, the Panthers would strike first and the nightmare was happening again. Max Naso had other ideas as he was buzzing the entire game. An impressive display by the defence core of Lucas D’innocenzo, Jarod Tessier, Adam Goss, Quinn Sarginson, and Spencer Main would prove important. With a minute left, a successfully drawn up play would see Naso score the tying goal to send the game to overtime. Another scoreless OT meant another shootout. Chris Angelo, Naso, and Harrison Doan would score on all 3 Welland attempts. A save and a missed shot would give Welland the redemption they were seeking. POG Max Naso.
