On Saturday, the Welland Midget A Tigers returned to the ice after a sad and heartbreaking week. The NOTL Wolves came to town and were very classy and respectful towards the meaning of the game. Back to the ice we go where it didn’t take long for the Tigers to open the scoring with Harrison Doan’s 6th goal of the season. Noah Carl would add a second and Jack Moormann a very quick 3rd goal and the flood gates were open. Moormann would score another, Doan two more and a single from Brett Gregory would round out the scoring for a 7-0 victory. Myles Chew was solid in net collecting the shutout. Spencer Main, Quinn Sarginson, Jackson Duerden, Max Naso, and Brodie Morabito also contributed with standout performances. The Tigers have some time off before their next game on November 16th when the Dunnville Mudcats come to town. Saturday’s player of the game is none other than…Bovi.
