Novice Tigers Advance to OMHA Semi-Finals
The Welland Mike Knapp Novice "A" Tigers are off to the OMHA Semi Finals after winning their quarter final series against the Glanbrook Rangers this past weekend.
The Tigers won their best 3 of 5 (first to 6 points) series in three straight games. The Tigers won game 1 (7-2), game 2 (3-2) and finished off the series in game 3 with a (6-1) victory. All of the games were hard fought battles with a hard working, much improved Glanbrook team.
The Tigers advance to face a strong New Hamburg Huskies team in the OMHA Semi Finals.
