Midget Rep, U16/18, 2016-2017 (Welland Minor Hockey)

Kennedy Seebach,Nolan Lynds ,Danial Van Alstine and Nik Gallen all will see action at the jr B level Saturday at Caledonia and Sunday at home. Game time in Welland will be 7pm vs Niagara Falls come out and support....the boys.

Welland Tigers Goalie Daniel Van Alstine called up to help the Welland Jr.B Canadians on Saturday. Van Alstine made 35 saves and collected 3rd star in his  jr B debut.     

The L.J.Walters Tigers were crowned champions at Brandy Pedde Memorial Tournament in Amerstburg this past weekend . After dropping the first game to Clarkson 5-4 the Tigers rebounded to defeat Belle River 7-2 and St. Thomas 7-1 earning them a berth in the semi finals and a rematch with the Clarkson Hurricanes whom they defeated 5-4 .  In the Championship game the Tigers took an early first period lead and never looked back defeating South Point by a score of 5 - 1 .
