The L.J.Walters Tigers were crowned champions at Brandy Pedde Memorial Tournament in Amerstburg this past weekend . After dropping the first game to Clarkson 5-4 the Tigers rebounded to defeat Belle River 7-2 and St. Thomas 7-1 earning them a berth in the semi finals and a rematch with the Clarkson Hurricanes whom they defeated 5-4 . In the Championship game the Tigers took an early first period lead and never looked back defeating South Point by a score of 5 - 1 .
