U18 B, U16/18, 2024-2025, REP (Welland Minor Hockey)

Just like that the U18B Welland Tigers have won the Niagara District Championship! We head off to Omha's March 28th weekend to continue our dominant Play. We would like to thank all of our Sponsors and fans for their continued support through the season.  

Tigers Win it all in Fort Erie Tournament this past weekend. Performing extremely well, going 4-1 in the 5 games in the tournament. The Championship game had Welland Tigers squaring off with the Fort Erie Meteors in a hard fought game. Welland came out 3-2 with a late short-handed goal to win it all. 

Sunday afternoon, Kurtis Kennedy was called up by the Dunnville Mudcats Jr C hockey club. Kennedy ended up getting into 7 minutes of game action in relief. Very strong performance by Kennedy. Congratulations to Kurtis Kennedy, along with Jared Duerden, Mason Risto, Jack Mykytuik in their affiliation with the Dunnville Mudcats Jr C hockey club.   

Our Sheltom Tigers return home from hard fought Ottawa tournament. Tigers battle in a high class AA tournament, performing well in all four games and competing at the AA level. Your Sheltom Tigers are back in regular season action tonight against the Thorold Blackhawks @ 735 pm.  

Welland Tigers had a difficult start to their season with a game against Niagara On The Lake, concluding in a tough loss of 3-0.  A lot of this was due to careless play turnovers and bad penalties. Our Tigers came out hard in Game 2 of this season against the Fort Erie Meteors, out shooting them 35-22, winning the game 5-3. A strong "bounce-back" game from a poor performance season opener.
