A Giant weekend for the Tigers...
After a fun weekend of hockey, where the Welland Capitals had a 1-1 record (Win; 7-1 vs. Dunnville, Loss; 2-6 vs. NTOL #1), players and parents gathered at Giant Tiger on Fitch St. to participate in a BBQ fundraiser to support the upcoming Dunnville tournament (March 11-12).
Thank you to all our sponsors and patrons who donated and purchased food during the 4 hour event!
A special thanks to our players and siblings who proudly represented our team, and politely ”asked/told” patrons to donate (lol) – and to all our parents who gave up their Sunday afternoon to lend a hand and share some laughs... Thank you all!
Last, but not least, a huge thanks to our parent rep, Kathy, who organized the day - and kept us on task, as well to her Mom and Dad who donated the Montreal sweatshirt (and for cleaning out the closest to donate the Toronto sweatshirt lol .
