Program Pause- Niagara Red Zone
Submitted By WMHA Executive on Saturday, December 19, 2020
As Niagara moves into the Red Zone of Provincial Restrictions effective Monday December 21st, Welland Minor Hockey Association has made the difficult decision to "pause" all hockey programming until Niagara moves back into the Orange Zone.

With the Ontario Hockey Federation guidelines and the Provincial restrictions, providing hockey in the Red Zone is logistically and financially not feasible at this time. Our member’s safety is of the upmost importance to us and we will resume hockey once it is safe to do so. Families will be offered a pro-rated credit for the weeks where hockey has been suspended; this will be finalized at the end of the season (April). We will remain connected to the Ontario Hockey Federation guidelines and will provide updates when they are available.
