For several years now, there has been many discussions and opportunities for amalgamation, however no traction was ever made for advancements. With new executives in place, in Pelham, Thorold, and Wellandamalgamation talks began once again. Preliminary discussions have occurred with a member from the West Niagara Executives providing us with their planning documents have recently gone through this process of amalgamation (Grimsby, Lincoln and West Lincoln).
