Welcome Back Hockey Season
Submitted By Bill Marr on Tuesday, September 17, 2019
On behalf of the WMHA Executive Team, I would like to welcome all volunteers, parents, players new and returning to the 2019/2020 hockey season. We are looking forward to great year full of development and fun. The focus this year will be branding, and Tigers! In the next few weeks you will see changes to our uniform colours in house league that will align with our new branding. Regardless of age, gender, skill or participation level, all players and members are considered Welland Tigers.  Our hope is that all players, parents, volunteers, and coaches will reinforce this thought and work together for one common goal, To Have Fun!

Additionally, we are exploring opportunities for cost saving that allow WMHA to offer more player development programs.  Our commitment to development starts on September 22, 2019 with a goalie clinic.  All WMHA registered goaltenders are welcome.

In closing, WMHA would like to remind all of our members about respect in sport and the online training provided by the OMHA.  Referees, coaches and volunteers will make mistakes.  Abuse of an official will not be tolerated. The association will be taking a proactive approach in assuring all officials both on and off the ice are treated with respect. Looking forward to a great season together!  Go Tigers Go!

Sincerely,
Bill Marr
