Tigers Comeback Falls Short

The Mike Knapp Ford Welland PeeWee AE Tigers started their regular season on the road against NOTL PeeWee AE Wolves.

The Wolves came out strong in the first two periods with a 3-0 lead.  Early in the second, the Tigers started their comeback with Meiko Margettie scoring first for the Tigers, followed by two goals from Brennen Hagar.  Going into the third the Wolves were up 6-3, and the Tigers came out with resilience to bring the game to a 6-6 tie, with two goals from Noah Forrester and one from Chance Hubbel.  Lincoln Kelley, Townes Bestward, Lucas Nelson, Lucas Cousineau, Maxime Rainville, Ava Haymes, Brennen Hargar and Alexander Doan all with assists.  The Tigers fought hard to the end but the wolves scored in the final minutes to win the game 7-6.
