Introducing the Welland Tigers Peewee AE
With the pre-season upon us, the Mike Knapp Ford Welland Tigers Peewee AE wrapped up their exhibition schedule with a 2-1-1 record.
Our first game at home hosted West Niagara with a 5-5 tie. Next we traveled to West Niagara where we lost by only one with the final score 5-4.
We celebrated our first victory with a 7-1 win against Merritton at home, followed by another victory on Merritton home ice with a 8-1 win to wrap up our pre-season.
With maximum effort by all, passion, and a team philosophy that "what we do we do together" this new team is moving forward with Tiger pride and excitement for the season ahead.
Our first two regular season games are on the road to NOTL and West Niagara, returning home October 5th to face the NOTL Wolves in our season home opener. Come cheer us on!
