a visit to their biggest rival, the Pelham Panthers.
On December 19th, the Welland Midget Tigers went down the road and paid a visit to their biggest rival, the Pelham Panthers. After all the hype and anticipation, it turned out to be a disaster. The Tigers were all over the Panthers the entire game, yet they just could not find the net. It would take a bad luck, off the back of a player and in the net type of goal for Pelham to take the lead 1-0. Pelham would score the empty net and that would be that. A 2-0 win for the home side and it sounded like the Stanley Cup was won. That game would wrap up the first half of the season until after Christmas. After Christmas the Tigers will go to Pelham again for the Regional Silverstick Tournament.
