Tuesday December 3, the Welland Midget Tigers went to Chippawa to play the
Niagara Falls Flyers.
On Tuesday December 3, the Welland Midget Tigers went to Chippawa to play the Niagara Falls Flyers. The Tigers were short a few players which meant Ryan Waver would play his first game. It would not take long for Welland to take the lead when 4 goals would be scored in a matter of 2 minutes. Welland would go on to score 6 more goals making the total 10. Some sloppy play throughout the game would see the Flyers score 3. It was point night for quite a few players. Hayden Scott, Jack Moormann, Luka Turkovich, call up Ryan Waver, and Chris Angelo all with 2 point nights; Jarod Tessier with 3 points; Brett Gregory with 2 goals and 3 assists; and Max Naso with the hat trick and 2 assists.
The Tigers will travel to Pickering for their 2nd of 3 tournaments starting Friday afternoon. Player of the Game was Brett Gregory.
