The Garden City Falcons paid the Welland Tigers a visit Saturday night at the King Street Ice Palace. It wouldn’t take long before the Tigers would open the scoring as Luka Turkovich would score his first of two on the night. The Falcons would answer almost right away as it was a pretty close game until Brett Gregory scored to make it a 3-2 game. A much anticipated return for Brodie Morabito as he finished his suspension. A great game by him as he crash and banged his way around the ice causing problems for the opponents. It would be a Morabito goal that would seal the win as he scored to make it 4-2 Tigers. Brett Gregory would ice the cake as he scored a highlight real goal going under the cross bar making it 5-2. The Tigers next game is back on the road, Tuesday night as they travel to Chippawa to play the Flyers.
