Saturday night saw the Dunnville Mudcats make the trip down highway 3 to play the Welland Midget Tigers. The Tigers had a sloppy opening shift which saw them give up the first goal and the lead. With a strong bounce back shift, the Tigers quickly tied the game with a nifty through the legs pass by Harrison Doan which saw Brett Gregory tie the game. Not long after that, Max Naso opened his account to give the Tigers the lead. It was all Welland after that which saw a goal from Lucas D’Innocenzo, a pair each for Jack Moormann and Noah Carl. Ian Boon was in the net for the win. The Tigers travel to Stoney Creek for a late one on Tuesday for a 900pm puck drop. Player of the Game goes to Jackson Duerden.
