The Welland Minor Atom "A" Tigers are 10-1
The Welland Minor Atom “A” Shadow Auto Tigers improved to 10-1 in divisional play after wins against the Glancaster Bombers and Pelham Panthers. The Tigers are currently 19-3 for the season including tournament action.
The Tigers faced off against the Glancaster Bombers Thursday night and emerged with an 8-1 victory. Thomas Russell was in net for the Tigers and earned the win while only allowing 1 goal against. The Tigers offence was led by Liam Seguin with 2G and 1A, Dylan Wood with 1G and 2A, Ethan Rousseau and Kingsley Lachnit each with 1G and 1A, Ryan Rousseau with 2A, Jordan Hotham, Blake Hudak and Brayden Farr each with 1G and Antonio Mete with 1A.
The Tigers then played the Pelham Panthers on Saturday with the final score ending up 5-2 in the Tiger's favour after the Panthers were able to hold them to a 2-2 tie heading into the third. Jackson Gallagher-Temple backstopped the Tigers to the win. The Tiger's offence was led by Ethan Rousseau with 1G and 2A, Hudson Bassi, Kingsley Lachnit and Jordan Hotham each with 1G and 1A, Liam Seguin with 2A, Ryan Rousseau with 1G and Basil Garofalo, Dylan Wood and Sebastien Boucher each with 1A.
The Tigers next game is Saturday, November 16th at 2:10PM in the Welland Youth Arena against the Stoney Creek Warriors.
