Minor Novice information
Hi all,

Just want to get my e-mail up from a few weeks back with relevant information:

REMINDERS:

Season times - Starting September 21st and 22nd

Saturday - 10:40 AM - 11:40 AM
Sunday - 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM

These will be the practice times for now unless you hear otherwise. Games are scheduled to start November 2nd but that is tentative and as soon as we have the schedule we will get that out to everyone.

For those asking about evaluations, we will be holding these on September 28th at the 8 AM practice. There will be independent evaluators from outside the program brought in and we will likely ask that some specific drills be run to make sure we can evaluate properly.

Dressing rooms

Just a reminder to check the board for dressing rooms, especially for Sunday morning practices as you will be right before the IP games which many of you know will be a packed house but at least you get the prime parking!

On-ice help

Many of you have helped out in the past and I appreciate those reaching out. I will be out on the ice the first few weeks and when I can if needed.

If you haven't before but are interested this year please let me know. There is a meeting tomorrow night (September 12) for information that you are still welcome to attend. Starts at 7 PM in the main community room first floor of the main arena. This will cover a lot that you already know but there will be an expectation that on Saturday's and Sundays the training aids are put away each time back to the locker room. I will get keys made for the first weekend.

Rogers home town hockey!

You may have seen this by now but this will be a big weekend. Please make sure if you are around and local that weekend that you attend. Would be great to coordinate as a team as minor novice. We will likely be looking at food drives, requesting help on the weekend, etc. so just starting to plant that information now.

Any other questions please reach out.

Thanks,
Scott Plugers
