Rangers Win 4th Straight, Knock Off Tigers
Tristan Alford scored the game's only goal and Hunter Lozecki recorded the shutout as the Glanbrook Rangers snapped the Welland Telus Tigers 17 game unbeaten streak in Niagara District Peewee Doherty league play.

With tonight's victory, their fourth consecutive, Glanbrook climbs into a three-way tie for second place with Welland and Stoney Creek, only one point behind St. Catharines and three points ahead of Lincoln.

Welland, 5-1-4 in their last 10 games, has four regular season games remaining. The Tigers will host Lincoln in a matinee on Saturday at 3:10pm and then travel to Fort Erie for a 1:15pm contest on Sunday. They will then host Stoney Creek on their regular home game night on Wednesday at 7:20pm. The season finale against the Grimsby Kings has yet to be finalized on the schedule.

The NDHL Playdown weekend for "A" teams takes place February 1-3. The Peewee division is being hosted in Welland this year.
