Double Header vs Stoney Creek
On Saturday December 8th The Welland Youngs Insurance Tigers hosted the Stoney Creek Warriors for the first of 2 games over the weekend. The Tigers brought their A game and defeated the Warriors 4- 1.
Blake Marton, Cade Bovine, Joseph Boychuk and Mackenzie Taylor each scored a goal assisted respectively by Matteo Valleriani, Jaxson Beck, Cole McCarthy, Marton and Boychuk.
On Sunday the boys travelled to Stoney Creek to play the second of 2 but loss a tragic 2-1. Blake Marton scored the lone goal for Welland unassisted.
With 3 games left before Christmas, the Tigers are hoping to continue to climb in the standings while preparing for their upcoming tournament in Oakville.
