5 points out of 6!
After a great tournament in Pittsburgh, The Welland Youngs Insurance Tigers were back to the grind this weekend with 3 games on the road. It all started on Friday night in Beamsville against the Lincoln Blades.  The Tigers dominated the game outshooting the Blades 34 - 6 but unfortunately the team walked away with a tie of 0-0.  Although a tough break for the Tigers, they were determined to get back into their groove and find the back of the net over the next two days, which they did.

On Saturday, The Tigers travelled to Stoney Creek to play the Warriors defeating them 9-0. Lighting up the scoreboard for Welland were Lucas Homan and Blake Marton, each with 2 goals; Austin Bovine, Joseph Boychuk, Jaxson Beck, Ethan Fortier and Cade Bovine each added one.  Helping by way of assists were Maxx Pals, Kyle Zenga, the Bovines, and Boychuk.  The defence, as well as Kaleb Bello, our goaltender, once again stood on their heads to keep every attempt out of the net.

Sunday was the last and final game of the weekend in St. Catharines.  The Tigers ran up the score for a second day in a row defeating the Falcons 9-1.  Austin Bovine, Blake Marton and Lucas Homan each scored 2 while Joseph Boychuk, Matteo Valleriani and Cole McCarthy netted one each.

With their record now at 8-4-2, the Tigers excitedly await the next game in Merritton this coming Tuesday.
