Tigers Finally Tamed At Home
The Welland Niagara Street Pharmacy Tigers suffered their first home
loss of the season this week, a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the
league-leading Glanbrook Rangers. Mitchell Tomaino and Carter Kipp
scored for Welland with Shea Linton, Luke Leblanc and Ben Fox scoring
for the Rangers. Welland, sitting sixth in the standings, heads to St.
Catharines on Friday night for a 7pm contest against the 4th-place
Falcons then takes on 3rd place Grimsby Peach Kings on the road Sunday at 4:30pm
before returning home Monday to host the 2nd place Port Colborne Sailors
at 6:50pm.
