Warriors finish a 3 game set with a solid 2-1 record
Saturday October 24th:
Welland Warriors 11
Welland LL1 8
On Saturday the Warriors were looking for city bragging rights as they took on the Welland LL1. The game was an all out offensive attack from both teams. The Warriors were led to victory by Xander, who scored his first hat trick of the season. Neither team showed much concern for defence but when called upon in the 3rd period Ephraim made some big saves to ensure victory.

Sunday October 25th:

Sunday the Warriors faced off in a chippy battle against a fast skating Thorold team. Thorold jumped out to an early lead, but thanks to a gritty effort from Tristan the Warriors tied the game up quickly. After numerous penalties were accessed to both sides Welland never was able to gain the momentum and despite stellar defensive play from Jack they fell to a strong Thorold team.

Monday October 26th:

With no time to hang there heads after a tough loss the Warriors were back out on the ice Monday night. The team was facing an undefeated West Lincoln team in there barn. It was not going to be an easy win, but the Warriors came out flying with an improved team game. Good passes and team defence were keys to their victory. Again Ephraim held the fort when called upon and kept the puck out of the Warriors net.
