Tigers Locked In Tight Battle With Riverside
The Welland Buckner's Source for Sports Tigers are locked in a tight
battle with the Riverside Rangers in the Quarterfinal round of the Minor
Atom A OMHA Playdowns.
Riverside edged Welland in a come-from-behind 3-2 victory in the opening game of the series despite goals from Carter Kipp and Jeffrey Bisson. Game two saw the teams skate to a 3-3 draw with Bisson, Nicholas DiPietro and Kaleb Seguin providing the Tigers offence. The series now travels to Windsor for the next three games with Game 3 taking place on Friday at 7:15pm, Game 4 on Saturday at 4:40pm and Game 5 if necessary on Sunday at 5:35pm.
