Tigers Win Fourth In A Row
The high-powered offence of the Welland Buckner's Source For Sports Tigers showed up Friday night even if team defence was lacking, allowing them to escape with a 10-7 win over the Pelham AE Panthers.
A team known for their defence-first philosophy gave up an uncharacteristic seven goals against but was able to pull out the victory with a seven goal outburst in the final period. Quinten Hemauer recorded the hat-trick, Jeffrey Bisson notched a pair and Ty Warren, Mitchell Tomaino, Simon Guglielmi, Carter Kipp and Nicholas DiPietro all added singles as Welland escaped with the 10-7 victory.
Lucas Motola scored twice for the Panthers and was joined on the scoresheet by Jacob Free, David Mayor, Liam Vokey, Aaron Lee and Lochlan Ridley.
In the week ahead the Tigers take on Merritton before competing in the Caledonia Challenge Cup on the weekend.
