2023 Hitting Clinic

WMHA will be offering a hitting/body checking clinic on Monday May 1st from 630-830pm at the Niagara Falls Arena.

This training session is offered to those players that have intentions to tryout for Rep Hockey in Welland for the U14 or U15 teams for the 2023/2024 season.  (born 2009 or 2010)

If you are a 2009 player that has attending a WMHA body checking clinic, you are not required to participate.  This session is for players that have not participated in the previous season.

There is no cost for WMHA players to attend.  Space is limited. If you sign up, you must attend or there will be a $50 "no show" fee applied to registration account.

By Signing this form, parents and players have read, understood and agree to the following:  

1: In consideration on being permitted attend the body checking clinic, or on being accepted by any of the member partners of Welland Minor Hockey Association, I hereby release the Association, the Officials of its members from all claims or causes of action which at any time hereafter may arise whether due to injuries, fatal or otherwise, or loss of, or damage to, personal property.  
   
2: Upon signature of this agreement, the player and parent(s) or representative of the registered player hereby agrees to abide by the WMHA Constitution, By-Laws, Policies and Playing Rules and by the constitutions, by-laws, policies, playing rules and codes of conduct of each of the WMHA member partners.

3: I understand that the training session offered is for the purpose of additional safety awareness. The completion of the training course does not automatically secure a placement on any team roster.  WMHA will not evaluate players at the training session for the purpose of tryouts.

4:  Any player that is unable to attend must contact WMHA Director of Development (Dan Chernish)prior to the training clinic to advise.  This allows spots at the training clinic to be made available to other players on a waiting list.  Any player that signs up and does not attend will be subjected to a $50 "no show" fee by the association.
